What's the best way to get Logos to get a resource listed for prepub or community pricing? I'd really like to see more Eastern Orthodox resources available and I would think it would be a good opportunity for Logos since many aren't available in Kindle (for example).

Some authors I'm interested in are: Metropolitan Hierotheos of Nafpaktos, Fr. Seraphim Rose, Ft. John Romanides, Bishop Hierotheos Vlachos, Archbishop Chrysostomos, Jean-Claude Larchet, Alexis Trader, Alexandros Benetus.

A number of them deal with Christian counseling, psychotherapy, and pastoral care. In particular, the understanding of the nous. I think they would benefit many across denominational lines. Rose's book on Genesis and Augustine also.

Romanides would just be fun to shake things up. David, true, that a book developed for Logos will be different than one that is for the ebook.faithlife site but one can still buy it from there and your Logos software will display it. Eric bring up a good point about someone going to kindle rather than ebook.faithlife to search for a book if it's unavailable in a Logos search. I've done this before and later found out I could of owned it via ebook.faithlife.

Even though the book might be subpar from ebook.faithlife vs. Logos, it's still far better than having it in kindle. RFE - Request for Enhancement. The Library tool should have a parent section called Base/Purchased Package view. This way, one can review the content as purchased. This would also be extremely useful for those that are leading study groups where members would have different packages. For example, a beginner's group might start with the free Logos package.

A leader, who owns more, would have a much easier time developing a study program for this group if in the library he could select the 'Logos 7 Basic'. Last option for this would also be the option to check multiple packages.

Of course, this option assumes the choices will be populated based upon purchases made. Here's a use case. Let's say I'm developing a bible study program for Moodle and will be recommending Logos software. As the developer, I need access to a lot of things for the research in my own Logos packages since I might be developing for multiple class or different denominations. But, I would want to set a recommended base package for the students to get as to then make sure required materials fall into that package.

I currently own the following below. There is now easy way for me to now know what resources I should or shouldn't use for a bible study program in regards to student min.

Woman were not to be taught by a rabbi, only men. Jesus satisfies our deepest longings.

Jesus brings up her husbands not to shame her, but to show He is a prophet who knows her heart thirst which the woman has been trying to quench through relationships with men. We all try and some our deepest heart thirst with temporal delights and achievements such as careers, money, alcohol, you name it. To help everyone meet Him. New converts are often the best and most open evangelists. Mature converts tend to be much more subdued.

Jesus, forgive me. I'm loving the workflows in Logos 8. I was wondering if there was any way to list different commentary types such as Technical, Pastoral, or Devotional within a minor step.

There are a few commentaries I work through for each 'stage' of my sermon prep. I first look at the technical, then as I'm attempting to find the best way to communicate, I may pull in the pastoral and devotional commentaries if I have time. I have set my preferred resources which helps. It would also be nice to list individual commentaries within a 'minor' step and add notes for the commentary in the workflow. So, instead of the whole section having a place for observation, each commentary would allow me to do that. If I ever need to reference the passage again, I could head back to the workflow. Thanks for listening!

Is it just me or is the size of the Table of Contents pane sort of annoying in that the text is far larger than necessary - and the spacing between items unnecessarily wide/high? I have a very high resolution laptop screen - so the Logos 7 version was a bit small - but this huge change in size is just not a great change. I did change the interface size to 80%, which did help - but then some things are now too small to be comfortable. It would seem to be a fairly simply customization option to all to change the font face, size and spacing of just the items in the Table of Contents pane. Or, am I just missing something - which could be.
